StoreX Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the services provided by StoreX ("Service Provider") to you, the client ("Client"). By using our services, you agree to the following:

1. Final Service Charges

The client understands that the final costs, whilst based on the quoted service rates, may differ from the initial estimates provided by the service provider, subject to the actual volume of the items once they have been measured in their storage location, the actual packaging materials used, the time required for dismantling and packaging and whether the client opts for additional services such as disposal of items or the use of a furniture lifter.

2. Late Payments

A late payment fee of ten cents (€0.10c) per day for every cubic metre of stored items may be applied to invoices not paid by the due date indicated on the invoice.

If overdue invoices are present, the retrieval of items from storage is suspended until all overdue balances are settled. If invoices are left overdue for over 3 months with no effort to settle the pending balance, additional action may be taken to recover the pending balance and vacate the storage area, including but not limited to legal action and liquidation of the stored assets.

3. No Responsibility for Items in Care

StoreX assumes no responsibility or liability, legal or otherwise, for any items while they are under its care, in storage, or during local or international transit.

4. Prohibition of Illegal Items

StoreX does not offer its services for any items of a narcotic, contraband, or otherwise prohibited or illegal nature. The Service Provider will not accept responsibility or liability, legal or otherwise, for such items if found to be under its care, whether in storage or during local or international transit.

5. Inspections of Items

The Client acknowledges and accepts that items placed into the care of the StoreX, particularly for storage or international transit, may be subject to spot inspections to verify the nature of such items.

6. Damages During Transportation

The service provider is not liable for damages incurred to the client’s items during or while in transit using third-party transportation, handling, loading/unloading and/or delivery services.

7. Proper Packaging Requirement

StoreX does not retain any responsibility or liability, legal or otherwise, for the items under their care, in storage or in local or international transit when such items were not packed and inspected by the StoreX.

8. Storage Handling Charges

A storage handling fee will apply when your items enter storage. This fee covers the neat stacking and shrink-wrapping of your items on pallets, as well as their placement in the storage facility. A similar retrieval charge will also apply when your storage period ends and the items are being removed from storage.

9. Restrictions on Perishable and Hazardous Items

Perishable items, such as food, and items that are explosive, flammable, or otherwise hazardous, are strictly prohibited from being stored in the facility. Such items will not be accepted into storage under any circumstances.

10. Internal Security

StoreX will maintain responsibility for the internal security of the storage facility. The facility will remain locked and safeguarded at all times to ensure the protection of stored items. Our storage facility is free from humidity and fully equipped with industrial pallet racking, fire and intrusion alarm, CCTV and 24/7 on-site security personnel.
